Thomas and I are the only ones downstairs this morning. I guess we’re the “early birds” of the house. He’s been especially affectionate this morning, but that could be because I snuck and gave him a little half & half while I was making my coffee. He may just be working me for more.
Anyway… he eventually worked his way up to the couch to visit me. First to the armrest, then over my belly to the other side, kneading his lovely claws through my shirt and into my flesh along the way. I forgot how much that hurts! He clearly made it known he wanted some lovins, so of course, I obliged him. I’ll upload all the pics to my Vedder & Thomas gallery, but just had to post the one below.
I think I captured the, “I didn’t say you could stop rubbing on me!” expression. What do you think?

Either way, there’s a bit of attitude in that look. It amuses me how he’s sleeping oh-so-peacefully next to me right now. He just took an extra long, deep breath that sounded so… content.

Check out my gallery, I uploaded some pictures of the snow we’re currently getting. Nothing all that amazing, but I just like playing with the camera. :spin:

I’m the type who sleeps pretty lightly for the most part. Sure, I move into REM and actually snore (thanks to my ex for letting me know this), but I wake up often throughout the night, so REM really has to be short lived for me which usually means I’m not getting the sleep my body truly needs. More often than not, I’m operating on 4-6 hours of sleep a night, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more, but that’s the average. I’ve managed to make that work for me, mostly with the assistance of a lot of highly caffeinated beverages, namely coffee. You probably don’t want to interact with me sans coffee. You may lose an appendage. :bored:
Ok, really, I’m not that bad. I promise. You can believe me.
My point of this entry (yes, I’m finally getting to it), is that there are nights I will sleep remarkably well, and for several more hours than what I normally do. Last night was one of those. I still woke up multiple times throughout the night, but I was in that bed snuggled under my blanket, cuddling with a pillow (and then later the house pooch, Vedder) for 10 hours.
Ten hours of sleep feels gooooooooooooooooooood! :woohoo:
