Very interesting…
The nifty little plug-in that tells me what posts on my blog are being read and how often just revealed something quite interesting.
Someone in the past 24 hours or so has been reading *only* the blog posts I made related to my former job.
Hmmm……
Wonder who that could be and what that’s all about. :blank:

Maybe they just like to read about work-related posts.
…Or maybe it’s something more sinister! At least it’s your OLD job. It’s not like they can fire you :grin:

Ooh, creepy. My first guess would be that it’s someone who either worked there or wants to work there. I did that, before I was hired at the place I’m at now, looking at other people who blogged about working there.
Must check into this plugin!

To those asking about the plug-in that tracks which posts are being read… it’s through Wordpress.com… and is simply called Wordpress.com Stats.

Eeek, slightly unnerving. Hopefully it was all innocent. Did you mention anything useful about what you did at your old job or was your old job not a very common job? i only ask because maybe the person reading those entries is trying to get into the same thing as you were doing and so they were doing research, by reading your entries.
But most likely that wasn’t the case. At least, though, it is about your old job, and not the new one.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate and assume there’s not some nefarious conspiracy from your former employers. Maybe someone liked what you had to say about your former job and wanted to know only that? Maybe they were screwed over by your former employer and saw a kindred spirit in you? I dunno.
