Men.
Over the past several months, I guess mostly due to the neighborhood where my job is located, I’ve made an observation.
Men are quite blatant in the way they check out women. Especially their backend parts.
It isn’t like I’ve never seen a man stop and stare at a woman’s ass. That kind of thing has been happening for decades… maybe centuries in some areas. I’m not opposed to checking them out myself from time to time. If a woman is walking in front of me and has a nice bum, I’ll appreciate it from afar. Really, it’s the sway of her hips that catch my eye, but I’m not writing my next erotic story here so I won’t get too detailed about that.
I’m not painfully obvious about it, though. What I’ve witnessed on a several-times-a-week basis lately is the men walking in the opposite direction, and as they pass these women, they’ll literally stop, turn around and stare until the woman has continued too far from view. When I’ve been within earshot of these incidents, the staring is usually always accompanied by a groan or a shake of the head and a “damn!” comment.
Being that I can’t relate because I’m not the type of woman whose ass attracts unwanted stares and also being that I’m not one of those “stop objectifying women” feminists, I find this more comical than anything else.
If any of you have strong opinions one way or the other on the subject, I’d be interested in hearing them.

haha. Seeing as how I’m one of those women who sometimes attract unwanted stares, - LOL. - I have learned to accept this kind of male behavior. I too, find it amusing. So long as it’s just looking and NOT touching, I won’t get offended. ;)

I sort of have one of those “make men stare” asses, but my boobs are even more attention-commanding lol. I just laugh at it. It makes a little part of me feel good inside, because when it comes down to it, that means you’re attractive. Men don’t stop and go “damn” at ugly flubby women, ya know?

I find it pretty silly really. I have a friend who has big boobs and she gets a lot of attention. The problem, she now thinks they are the only good thing about her. I try and tell her their is more to a person then just the outside curves and bumps. :/
If I had a body that did grab attention, I don’t believe I would be happy if someone did that.

You know it’s degrading, but honestly, it’s kind of flattering sometimes, too. Everyone wants to be seen as attractive, right?

LMAO! “Men” indeed… so easily amused. I don’t get annoyed with it either, especially it’s me he’s checking out. I like the feeling… if the man isn’t rude or obscene about it, of course. The only way it’ll bother me a bit is if I catch a boyfriend blatantly checking out some chick walking by or whatever; because even though I know it’s natural behavior for a man, he should have the decency to control himself when he’s with me.

Well, yes, it’s certainly amusing, especially if there’s a reaction that follows. Mind you, I’m not one to promote ass-staring, but I’ve chuckled out loud before when I see this happen. And sure, women shouldn’t be “objectified,” but you know, I really think there are women out there who want it, like it, and are just plain ASKING for attention what with the clothes they wear. So who can blame guys for staring or giving them the attention they crave?

ahaha I love this post! Anyway, I’m not the kind that gets a head turn or a “damn” or a groan even type of gal that has a bum like you’ve described. However I’m assbackwards. I get a “damn” or an “oooh” whenever I pass a guy because of my breasts. They’re big and all natural. But still it’s comical and a little disgusting. But what can ya do with men right? Well; I like you so much from what I’ve read, and I like your domain so I’m gonna link you underneath dailies. Okay?

I find the whole thing absolutely hilarious. I’m not one of those types that gets those stares or comments, but it’s still funny to hear them.

I was honestly worshiping your About Me page, well the part about you being a homosexual. It made me smile and admire your strength. I don’t think I have the nerve to be so out about it, so it’s admirable to read about someone who is.
On your blog, boys in my town do that, or since it’s a small town they feel the need to slap the girls actual butt. It’s ridiculous and I agree the sway of a girls hips are much more alluring and very hard to not stare at. XD
It must be nice to live in Washington D.C, I visit there all the time.
Anyways, ciao.
