I’ve got this nifty plugin for my blog called WordPress Stats, and it tells me how many people visit my blog each day as well as sites that are “referrals” to my blog. Most of these “referrals” have consistently been my friends’ blogs, but today I see someone clicked my blog link from a Yahoo! Mail message.
This isn’t a bad thing, I’m just curious who is emailing my site info to others. :cute:
Oh, and one more thing…
Should I be concerned there is an opened bottle of wine, three quarters empty… in my office’s community refrigerator?
Before any of my fellow sarcastic friends comment - NO, it isn’t mine.

At first, I wasn’t sure how, but two of my posts were being spammed with comments about Viagra and other little pills I’ll thankfully never have to take. It started last night, and I woke up to about 30 more comments this morning. Thank goodness for comment moderation or my blog would surely be a mess right now. :annoyed:
I decided to uncheck the “allow pings” on those posts, and the spammed comments stopped. Yay for trial and error. Double yay for when that trial and error actually works. :woot:

I amuse myself sometimes.
Why? Because I am clearly doing a better job at keeping this blog than I am at dragging my ass to the gym.
At least I’ve been getting some exercise, though. Thursday and Friday of last week, I walked about half way to work (1.25 miles each day)…and I did this when the temperatures were absolutely freezing. I was convinced my ears were going to fall off my head, truthfully. Yeah, I’m foolhardy like that sometimes, but I’d much rather walk and lose myself in my thoughts and my music and enjoy my surroundings than put up with the rude people on the crowded, rush hour metro. Being able to walk almost anywhere is one of the things I love about living in the city.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day, so I walked the entire distance from my house to the office, which is three miles…and I did the same this morning, too. Eight and a half miles over the past five days isn’t too bad. But, while I’m not sitting on my ass all day, I’m not exactly exerting myself enough to work up a good sweat. Though, it’s probably safe to say that if I continue to walk regularly, you might just be able to bounce a quarter off my ass come summer.
I know I’m slacking on the blog I said I’d make about my birthday weekend…then again, there are probably only four people who actually visit this site, so I’m not exactly pressed to get it posted.
Ok, back to work I must go…. which really means, back to delegating while I continue playing around online.
