Fall is making its approach. It’s currently in the mid-60s and the wind is gusting at 20-30 miles per hour.

I have the back door propped open and I can hear the wind as it swooshes through the trees back there. I love this weather, but I really do miss living in a place where I can open the windows to see, hear and smell it all. Doing so is relaxing and energizing all at the same time.

I think I’m going to sit on the back porch with Vedder for a while. :smile:

/EDITED to add: There are few other things more comforting or more soothing than wrapping your hands around a hot mug of coffee as the chilly air travels over your skin and you feel the heat radiate from your fingertips through the rest your body. I sat still for a few moments and did nothing but feel. I literally felt the warmth in my soul…

Current Mood: Thoughtful & Calm/Relaxed

Along with the seasons changing comes me getting a cold. I generally get one or two a year, either during the transition of spring to summer and/or summer to fall.

I hate that itchy, scratchy feeling I get in the back of my sinuses…I feel like a sneeze is building up, but it takes a full 15 minutes to actually work its way out. I’m a little sniffly and I have a sinus headache.

Sounds like allergies, right? Probably is, but 90% of the time I end up getting sick. Thankfully, I’m usually only miserable for a couple days.

I’m also thinking stress from work could be inducing it all, too. Blech. :huh:

//3:12pm EDITED to add: I’m definitely getting sick. I’m sneezing every few minutes now and I’ve got that spacey medicine-head feeling, without having taken anything. Dammit.

This morning’s walk to work was just slightly on the chilly side at 67 degrees.

Winter’s going to be here before I know it, and damn if it doesn’t always feel like she takes her sweet time leaving.

I need to migrate south. :yes:
